Looks the biz. Unfortunately I don't call the shots. After a lifetime of avoiding being dictated to by women I now find myself at their mercy. Does it have a casino?

Must be an hard job for your family we went through the same with the wife's parents some years ago and we all rallied round so they did not have to go into a care home and all their possessions and savings used up to pay for their care. What boils my piss is the profits on social care going to some care home owner instead of it going into a big pot to fund a better social care plan.

I agree ? I doubt many will complain about a Fillipina nurse, an Indian doctor, a Japanese scientist or an Australian engineer coming here to do a job where they are needed. But the thousand

I wouldn't change anything. Really happy with where I am and what I've built. Wake up at 8am to coffee in bed, walk the lad to school, over the field with the dogs. Leave for work at 9.30....try and g

I am doing a job now that I never expected to do or planned for, but should have. Working as a carer for rapidly deteriorating very elderly parents with individual mental and physical problems. Luckil

We had to put someone in a private care home recently 1200  a week, then we was getting a home career to live in 7 days a week at 1750 for my dad so 2850 a week ffs . We never got the live in carer as things took a turn for worse . I don’t actually think 1000 a week is to bad , you try looking after someone 7 days a week 24 hrs aday it’s fuking draining. If you got more than 23,000 in your bank or any property’s the govt won’t look after you.so just spend the bloody lot cause if you die and got any left the govt take that too.

Thats fair enough but we're expected to look after my ole fella with nothing more than his state pension, that's heating electric food and care, we're not complaining but it's a joke.

Yup it’s shit mate but I believe theirs some help available. Doctors have tel numbers of certain people who can help.  6 months of looking after someone does get out of hand financially. I could barely go to work so money going out and not coming in ain’t good.

The care home the wife worked in recently that catered for mental health clients the cost was about five and half grand a month the owner had a villa in Spain and an apartment in New York i think its a national disgrace these places make profits for individual owners.

Care homes are licences to print money, that's why in this area a lot of business savvy Indians own them.

That's certainly how I read it... other than Born I guess there aren't many uni graduates on here, but quite a few do very well for themselves as they are educated in their field, keen to learn and expand and have the hard graft ethos to back it up...

I'm always the black sheep. :cray:

If he anything like his ma I’m guessing they let him through on his other contributions to society ?‍♂️

He is currently in a "hospital" for the foreseeable future after his crack addiction spiralled out of control leading him to attack half the NHS (Sandy was lamping that night luckily) and chase his mother while nude ?

Thank fukk He was nude! He was, wasn't he? I have to believe that.

The thought of the Abbopotomus, hurrying Anywhere nude, would be a vision enough to fuel my nightmares for the rest of my life! :icon_eek:

Yes, he was naked, the scary thing is he was actually viewed as a rising star in the foreign office where he worked as a diplomat ? he has an indefinate hospital order and a ban from ever entering the home office.
