i'll never forget the day she tragically passed. Working in Northumbria Water head office building in Thornaby. Put in extra hours through the week so we could get an early shout to catch the Liverpool v Newcastle match on Sky. Motoring back up the A19 when it was announced on the radio and out of respect all Premier League games had been cancelled. I was almost moved to tears.

I'd just got back from a night out at the Hippo Club...was flying my nutts off...knocked up a 3 paper and put the TV on... genuinely thought it was some kind of wind up,every channel the news presenters were crying and a load of shit box sad music playing ?...I was more upset at the death and loss of Tony de Vit tbh ?

? I was the same, I’d been out to a club called the Blue Monkey, chewing my chops off, got home had a few bits and bobs to calm me down, put the radio on in my bedroom and came round a bit late for a little top up to help me sleep and it was on the radio, I couldn’t work out if it was real or I was tripping, a very confusing morning ?

The 1st example that I remember of the over the top fake grieving by people for someone that they did not even know. She was a young woman with everything to live for and the mother of 2 young children. Her death was sad, but no more so than when tragedy befalls any family.

I just hope that my flippant comments have not angered the Gods and we get hammered by Wolves as a punishment. But even if I have upset the Baby Jesus, Allah should still have our backs.
