Hob vasectomy

Hi all, now  that I have 3 Jill’s I’m looking into getting a hob for next years season however I don’t want loads of kits so I have settled for the idea of vasectomy to bring them out of season. Does the hob have to be 6 7 months  Or can I get the opp done when the ferret is any age eg 1 year. So would it be more beneficial to get a hob kit and get it vasectomised  when it’s 6 months or get a year old hob and get it vasectomised straight away or does it not make much difference. Thanks

I usually wait untill their balls drop then take them in I have also had them done later in life 1 and two year old without any issues.

I usually get them done at about 10 months of age, but that’s just my preference,

Definitely the way to go if you keep a number of Jill’s, I have a total of 10 jills in 3 cages all I do is move the vasectomised hob from cage to cage as and when needed, by the end of summer he’s burnt all his winter fat off with all the sexercise,

Any one got one done recently? Our vets wanted 170 think last one was only 70 6 years ago

Just make sure that the vet has had plenty experience with ferrets.
