the reason i asked your opinion on what were the better pups as i understand it millie had six or seven litters of pups in her lifetime and i wanted to know what you thought was better line breeding to punch or outcrossing to joe , the reason im asking these questions is because you seem to know your stuff on bull crosses

i had good results both ways,if your that intrested why not come and watch both lots of dogs go out,then you can see for yourself what you think is best,

and then we dont have to do the silly talk on here you could bring a dog yourself if you like,samet sam,punch lined marley once,then punch was killed thats why he used flyn across marley

when i meant good stuff, i thought that line of dog was not given out willy nilly so to speak:)

is there any true punch lines left i think not and if there was they would be watered down somewhat now me old mucka punch lined some decent bitches but also a lot of crap be careful mate

 

heres a fact.punch only lined one 1/2 cross bitch,marley,7 pups one dog that died at 6 weeks old and 6 bitches,he also lined a 3/4 bred dog thats it.i have 3 dogs down from punch,and there as close as you can get to the dog,not because i wanted a dog like punch,he was good but theres better,i did it to try get a dog like his daughter.and his granson.i would stick up photos of the dogs i have but you know that this site is watched,the dog i lost 2 weeks ago that spartucas found for me was a double bred dog,double bred to punches daughter,your right minshawdogz one dog dont make a line,but tryed and tested for 18years of best to best gives you dogs that you can trust,

hello bob just been talking to H from devon who said you are completly right that punch only lined 2 bitches he bred punch out of a bull called knuckles, and a track grey called goldie this was in 1990 punch and his sister went up to london to his close friend but as you said he gaurds this line and only breeds a litter for himself . i know one went to pompie , finn the brother went to newcastle.

your right there mate , ginger is bulls**tter .....i must of got lucky with the dog i bought from him because he has never let me down , and up to now the bitch pup i kept off a breeding from him is doing well .... you've seen pics of the bitch and after i get her some more expierience you are welcome to see her run/work either by means of me coming to you or you are welcome to a visit to wales .....all the best pal from john

as i said above , when the bitch has had some more expierience i will gladly come down and show you , as for the old dog , i've been trying to get him fit again since he lost a toe last year , but he after a good walk he ends up on 3 legs , i think the end of the bone in his foot is making his foot sore if that makes any sense , his daughter is showing good promise for the future and we have had some good sport with her recently , i'll give you a shout when i think the bitch is up for it
