Doesn't matter whether OJ is a bender or leftie, straight or right wing. Imo you should read stuff from every source. Right, left, catholic, protestant, first world, third world . Keep an open mind. Always keep listening, always keep learning . Keeps you young.  Nobody has a monopoly on truth, so,it's laziness  and stupidly comforting to only read stuff which doesn't challenge your pre- existing beliefs.

I read the Daily Mail, but I never forget it was a paper which supported Hitler.

Everyone should listen to Owen Jones mate, if you didn’t believe that zealots and nutters walk among us then you will after an hour listening to him.
