Many years ago, some acquaintances of mine were doing the cigarette runs on the Dover Calais ferry. The didn't even get off in France, they paid off the duty free guy on the ferry and simply bought all the stock.

They made a fortune out of it, but the poor saps who were the mules got a few quid and a ferry trip.

Anyhow, two of them thought they were "big guys" and Cook set them up in a honey trap, they didn't just spill the beans, they bragged about things way above their pay grade !

They were on the Cook Show, bang to rights, but the brains behind it ended up millionaires !

yeh the foreign guy, pro hitman, who hired him???!!! Palmer was meant to have recorded every conversation & had safety deposit boxes... be years before it appears in the public domain no doubt.
