Stavross 15,323
I like this one, not much to it, but it was the day after the last day of the season, it was almost like a victory flight, he’d made it 8 Quote Link to post

Stavross 15,323
Although I’ve got loads of photos of things I’ve shot my favourites are always with people having a good time and the memory of spending that time with them little Hugo’s first proper evening out rabbit shooting and then a call for a fox Hugo working harder than the spaniels up at the shoot with my mate Rob The missus up at the shoot with me, she normally comes to feed once a year, remembers she hates the countryside and doesn’t come until the next season few lads from the shoot, enjoying the day, sadly the lad on the left took his own life not long after this photo was taken Group up at the shoot from a few years back and some waster 5 Quote Link to post

You're right, the background context is a big part of it. Quote Link to post

shovel leaner 7,650
I just took a snap while I was waiting for woodcock to be driven in Cheshire. I didn’t think anything of it at the time but I like the reflection of the trees and it is quite evocative of that shoot and makes me feel all fuzzy and nostalgic. 7 Quote Link to post

shovel leaner 7,650
I think my favourite pictures aren’t ones of groups of friends or piles of dead stuff , ( and I’ve got loads of those on my phone ) . For me it’s moments that I tried to capture when I took a moment, stopped what I was doing and thought “ this is beautiful, I’ve got to take a picture “, we are privileged to see nature at its best , alone very often and at times of day when others are in bed . 5 Quote Link to post
