I like this one, not much to it, but it was the day after the last day of the season, it was almost like a victory flight, he’d made it

Although I’ve got loads of photos of things I’ve shot my favourites are always with people having a good time and the memory of spending that time with them

Love the story behind that one mate. You're right, the background context is a big part of it.

I just took a snap while I was waiting for woodcock to be driven in Cheshire. I didn’t think anything of it at the time but I like the reflection of the trees and it is quite evocative of that shoot and makes me feel all fuzzy and nostalgic.

I think my favourite pictures aren’t ones of groups of friends or piles of dead stuff , ( and I’ve got loads of those on my phone ) . For me it’s moments that I tried to capture when I took a moment, stopped what I was doing and thought “ this is beautiful, I’ve got to take a picture “, we are privileged to see nature at its best , alone very often and at times of day when others are in bed .
