allthomp 0
Great looking pup! You must tell about Roodogs and running Kangaroos. I have heard about them but was not sure if they still exist. How is it done? Can you descibe a good hunt? I live in Western US. We us Staghounds and Coldblood greyhounds to hunt Coyotes with. I am sure the thrill is similar. Quote Link to post

MATTI 34
Is it true that some strain of Roo's can get to 7 foot high? What sort of weight do they get to and do dog's get injured very often? Sound's like an interesting sport P.S. That pup is a beuty. Quote Link to post

DiStuRBeD 0
makeup would consist of deerhound, wolfhound, greyhound, saluki and likely great dane a long time back they have been bred for 3 human generations going by what a old fella said about them, so the line could be 100 years old or more as for roos yes there are some monsters out there Quote Link to post
bruny 0
Some roos These were shot on a culling licence. Quote Link to post
allgame 0
a roo will carve up a dog if given a chance strong legs with sharp claws iv even heard of roos drowning dogs when they jump in a dams and then grab the dog in it, it dosnt happen much a few sratches evry now and agian but it only takes one roo to kill a dog so i personaly try and stay away from big fellas Quote Link to post
DiStuRBeD 0
not always the big fellas that will do ya dog in but, the smaller ones have much sharper nails, liek a sharp elongated pyramid type toe, all the roos strength is usually in their kick unless you meet a old boy, then their forearms can be much bigger then a mans and all solid muscle Quote Link to post
