Kay 3,709
does anybody know the cheapest vet for neutering ferrets, i have a hob and jill that could do with the snip ]btw iam in West Herts area. thanks in advance I wouldnt be looking for the cheapest vet, look for one who had operated on a ferret before, i heard from a lady a few yrs back who owned the mother to my ferrets & she booked her in for speying , sadly they got the anasthetic wrong & she died , they hadnt dealt with a ferret untill that point, so its worth baring in mind Quote Link to post
stubby 175
good point kay, luckerly the one I took mine too was mine charged £52 each hob (had 2) vesectamised they did however try getting me to agree, to them sending a report in and piece of tube (from the snip) to give a 100% certainty that the op was a success, this would have put the price upto £104 each hob, I decieded to ask questions instead, the vet had performed 100 plus snips on hobs, so I felt confident that he knew the correct bits to snip Quote Link to post
