A lot were closed after Russia invaded Ukraine, They have been removing a lot of sites streaming, content, shall we call it, In recent times but i do believe they don't have a hope in hell of shutting everyone down completely.

Ok, so I cancelled the tv licence a couple of years back, did it correctly so no hassle. Just had an email reminder, now I'm pretty sure I wouldn't and didn't give them my email address.  Actually pissed me off a bit. They want me to confirm I still don't need one and update my details at this address which as far as I'm concerned has piss all to do with them.   Question, humour them, keep it right, or, delete email and ignore ?.

I humour them. Takes 2 seconds,  I've not had 1 for years though so maybe the penny has dropped for them.

11 years for me, just get odd letter now and again.  And hasent had my name on for years and years. They just say addressed to the House Holder.  I file them in the filling system .........log burner

I get the odd letter asking if Im going to be in on such and such a date because they are sending an investigating officer to check if I need a licence, they havent been yet in over 15 yrs
