There are some good hunt terriermen out there, very good, also some of the biggest pricks you will ever come across.

Roger Bigland is an ignorant man no doubt about it but its not because he is a hunt terrierman, its not good to generalise, thought you would know better Nuv.

I learned much of what I know from a hunt terrierman who was totally down-to-earth (sorry) and had no pretence about him. However, some of the others who also followed became hunt terriermen themselves and ended up totally pompous, mistakenly thinking that they had made it to Nirvana and were better than others who dug the local tip.

I found a pattern emerging the more of thier counterparts I got to know; I do not generalise, I speak from my own experience.

He was our local terrierman, as usual pro hunt.I believe he was one of the longest serving hunt terriermen. He is retired now and breeds kc parsons. When he was with the heythrop he used little ugly 10" russells but different dogs for showing. To be honest our paths never crossed much, but he was ok with me (possibly as he knew I could wreck his days sport :censored: ).His terriers were generally bolter as this country is a riding one.As for shooting foxes not when he was part of the heythrop they are seriously snobby hunt.

had arun in with him last year.turned up at one of our meets with minkhounds.his terriers were all over the shop.told him to couple them up or f**k off.he got a bit pissed off.as for hunt terriermen, some are messers but there are some very decent ones as well, depends on who you hunt with i suppose. :wallbash::wallbash:
