Cut it into rounds (steaks) and poach in cider with a bay leaf and peppercorns. Bloody lovely. Old boy we used to go sea fishing with told us how, was that many year ago he used Woodpecker green label cider !! You don't want too big a conger mind, about 3 - 4 inch across the steak and about  2inch thick

Don't feed much fish but do you have to pressure cook fresh fish or de bone? Mine have eaten carp straight out of the river raw but I was worried about bones.

Thats what I was thinking,  is it best to cook fish as I've tried my 3 on raw Mackrell and they won't go near it ,only time they bother with raw fish is when they find a rotten one along the river to roll in the dirty b....ds ,
