jukel123 8,573
Sod!! I clicked on to the bait wondering what the feck had happened. I even thought Johnston had inadvertently told the truth which was the catalyst for a cobra meeting.

Borr 6,343
Well I enjoy the heat , have the fortune of having a bit of time off, luck and work factors, it's not what we're used to dog early and late everyone gets a bit irritated at tes kids need to cover up a bit or lather cream on, tend to find water for dogs and kids. It's fine saying people are winging but we've lived abroad in 40 degrees , nothing gets done , over here I see folk getting demonised for taking dogs out in 25 degrees , winter temp in Zimbabwe, have to wear socks apparently, so it's always going to be dependent on the status quo , let's face it it's warm for UK , I've been hot and bothered but nothing a cool shower and cold beer doesn't fix..... Born Hunter 17,798
I’m in Cornwall for a few days now. It’s outrageous. Absolutely perfect. I was spear fishing this morning and when the clouds broke and the sun hit the water it lit up hundreds of jellyfish and thousands of sandeels. Was like something out of aquaman. And there’s a ton of babes in thong bikinis! Edited July 12, 2022 by Born Hunter 6

chartpolski 24,437
Foreigners laugh at us when we panic about "extremes" of weather! Ive got Canadian friends who don't miss a days work even if the temperature falls to -40 .......we close the schools and roads, trains stop running if there's an inch of snow ! We have COBRA meetings when the temperature reaches 30 and have government warnings........I lived in the Middle East for many years and can't remember anyone panicking even when the temperature approached 50 ! When I was a kid and we had a foot or more of snow, we were told to get our wellies and balaclava's on and get to school. When we had a "heatwave" it was an excuse to get the hose out in the front street or go swimming in the local pit pond ! Whats changed ? Is It Health & Safety ? Have we all gone soft ? I don't know. Cheers.
