For over 40 years each of my dogs has had a raw egg on most days. Sometime only quail eggs, other times hens, just depends on season.

Eggs are super food, mine get free range eggs every day mixed in their feed. Best thing for their coats to shine. People have said it's too much egg but my dogs live to a very old age and never have runny shit.

I keep a few hens and I fight the dogs for an egg but I wunt eat them raw like that tommo the savage running about in a loin cloth tipping raw eggs down his neck

Yep,.. eggs are good,..no doubt about it

But, I also liked to feed the dogs on copious amounts, of oily fish...

Breakfast..raw Egg most days, even the shell,mixed with natural yogurt,,slice of brown bread ,slog a cider vinegar,sf50,tin sardines in oil.oh,,and a squirt of honey..tell me I'm  wrong..lol.chicken wings legs or thighs or beef bones on a night..

I rarely give dog an egg, she's due a few as we've been given loads, I enjoy eggs , downed a couple of raw ones on my mission to show kids no food is off limits, I gagged a bit missus was horrified lol. Eggs are great.

Mine get eggs now and again, usually quail or pigeon eggs with the shells dropped straight into their bowls.
