forest of dean redneck 11,530
Yesterday I spent afternoon in Weymouth , loads of dogs being walked or on beach with their owners , a Bedlington and long haired Alsatian looked like they were suffering then in local echo firemen in bridport had to break into a motorhome which had 2 dogs in a cage . Every summer it’s the same , I really can’t get my head around people taking dogs out to shut them in a car or drag them round town centres ? when I kept dogs if I went out in summer they were left at home in kitchen back door left open and several water bowls left out . 8

jigsaw 11,863
Was out late yesterday afternoon and very early this morning, and the dogs were beat after a bit so I turned back, there's lots of water holes where I go so regular rehydration is possible, without this I wouldn't have gone, the blasted flies and insects are me alive
Squirrel_Basher 17,100
At last years game fair I saved a labs life without a doubt .People crowded round a choc lab having a fit ,wearing a check coat ffs .I stepped in shouted to clear some space and asked for the nearest tap .A bloke pointed and I scooped the dog up .Got there and ripped the coat off with owner screaming something .Ran the tap between the dogs back legs and after a while it came round ,tried to bite me but owner calmed it down .That dog was in middle stages of dehydration which kills through fitting and shutting down of organs until the heart is the last thing . It made a full recovery and the owner wanted to buy me something which I refused .What a stupid thing to do .Dogs at shows are a silly statement and wearing coats even worse . If any of you ever see a dog in trouble caused by heat ,cold water between the legs cools the blood faster than anything .Don’t let it drink too soon or it will omit badly .Small amounts often .
eastcoast 4,090
I took my parents down to South Shields yesterday. Managed to get parked close to the sea and sat with AC on and doors open whilst they had an ice cream. Many people had their dogs with them, most panting hard and tongues hanging out, their owners totally oblivious "ee, isn't it glorious!". A family in front of where we were parked were throwing a ball for a Stafford. Madness. Stupidity.

Plan appropriately, stops and routes etc in the right places, no bother. and to add: the nobber has his bed behind me in the photo (camping mattress), he chooses to sleep on the floor, f***ing weirdo

I know you bought your dog over from uk but do you think that dogs living in hot countries get accustomed to it ? where as uk ones only get a hot summer once every 5 years
