How some people have the audacity to moan that our country is becoming like the third world when they openly welcome the third world into our country is beyond my logic !

They inherited low inflation, low mortgage rates tied to low interest rates. 14k police, but an untold number of illegal and legal immigrants, countering all investment in NHS schools etc. G

Labour were apoplectic with the Tory's planned NI rise....... Now Labour are apoplectic that the planned NI rise is cancelled ! Labours default setting is simply to oppose anything the Tory'

Simple…..voters and non voters mate.

I don't think you can blame the voter.

Last election, I voted Tory for the first time in my life, just like millions of others.

The reason I voted Tory, and I suspect many others did was for two reasons......get Brexit done, and keep out Corbyn.

Both were done, more or less, so in that instance democracy won.

I cant see all the red wall voters voting Tory again, I certainly won't.

So, unless another party, such as Reform, make big strides, I'll vote for an independent, but I'm sure we will end up with a hung parliament, which will suit no one and possibly make things far worse.

Caveat emptor.........

Cheers.

I disagree (although it’s just my opinion obviously)….I think you absolutely have to blame the voters and non voters.

I think we absolutely need to re-establish the link and the responsibility between voters, those who don’t bother and the outcomes in the country.

Ultimately, we vote for these people and it’s always to spite 70 odd years of proof and f#ck you’’s……voters have to start doing better and making better decisions and informing themselves.

Keep doing the same and expecting different is just insane.

As I said, more or less.

Far more than May would have achieved, but far less than I would have liked !

I wanted what we were asked to vote on; "leaving the EU and all its institutions". But that was never going to happen with the Establishment being pro remain.

But I feel we achieved something.

Maybe I'm just a glass half full kind of guy ?

Cheers.

Not only that but she just seems the best candidate out of them all’ speaks well ‘seems genuine and not a slimey Cnut so to speak .

If the tories want to win the next election she is their best bet but just like Biden I fear things are geared up in this country now for the result they want at any cost.

Rishi and another pulled out of live debate yesterday

Stating for the good of the party

More like debate gives Kemi a better platform as she speaks well .

Problem is, whenever they have a revolution, like in France or Russia they end up with Macron and Putin. Nothing changes really.

Scary really. I've always voted least worse option.... At the minute that's a black woman.

You now have a choice of a white woman, pick any one from two, or a black man. Lord Frost seems to think that Mordawnt is a shirker who has done nothing to warrant the top job. Private Eye claim that Sunak is hiding his true wealth and business interests from Parliament. So that leaves Truss.
