Watching Wolf Alice at Glastonbury, they've turned into a cracking band..

Took my eldest to Brixton Academy to watch the 1975 must be 8 years ago now, Wolf Alice supported them.. me and the Mrs liked them at the time..they are storming this Glastonbury set!

Who’s the best you have ever seen do you reckon mate ?

I have seen Madness, Weller, Foos, The Who, Motörhead, QOTSA, Muse, Ian Dury and the blockheads….too many to mention, but the absolute best by a clear country mile was Neil Young & Crazy Horse……I’ll take that one to the grave !

Great live bands there mate...

The Rolling Stones were special, watched them at Twickenham on the 40 licks tour, last time I saw concorde in the air, just me and the Mrs early in our dating...dunno it was just a big deal I suppose lol...

Pulp in mid 90s at Exeter uni...for me Jarvis Cocker is up there with the best lyricists ever...he sat and yapped between sings and you'd pay just to hear him talk lol... I took Fin and nieces to watch Noel Gallagher at Powderham Castle couple of years back and Jarvis was stood beside us, watching the local band who was first support.... I'm not the type to ask for autographs or selfies...so I didn't...but wish I'd at least said hello lol..

Guns and Roses at London Stadium was huge as they were the band who got me really into music as a 12 year old... was a bit late..but still.a good and nostalgic gig.. wish I could've seen them in Whiskey A Go Go late 80s when they were top.of the game!! Lol

Seen loads over the years though, was into the whole brit pop thing and watched pretty much all of them...oasis were the worst, terrible venue (westpoint arena, a big cattle shed outside of Exeter) shit sound, Liam was stropping and kept threatening to walk off....I wish he had it was shit lol!

The one I want to see and wish I had years ago is Bruce Springsteen.... my old man is a big fan, another of my favourite lyricists..he tells a good story..

Nearly flew to New York to watch his Broadway show, hoped it would come to the west end...but it didn't...lol
