Deker 3,478
I am using a Hawke Pro Stalk 3-9x50 with a Mil dot. The Hawke Ballistic program does not have the Mil dot reticle on it only the Map and Sr reticles. Has anyone ever tried the software with the Mil dot and if so does it work The spacing on the mil dots does not equate to the spacing on the other reticules the program is designed to work with, so it will not work. Best idea is to simply try the scope out in the field with appropriate ammo and check mil dots. Remember this program is only an approximation anyway, long/short barrels, barrel condition, variations of ammo from manufacturer to manufacturer, weather, atmospheric pressure, etc etc will all effect the flight path. The program is useful but don't stake you life on it, whatever it says you need to check in the field! Quote Link to post
