Not on fens the simple c**t. He just goes local an let's them hunt up an pull owt up that's not coursing Mc. Now the picture you put up if that's done by out working there's a difference one man and his dog. But you can't educate pork like Mc he's a strange fruit. Quote Link to post

Blackmag 6,102
I have always let them play and chase each other and socialising with other dogs from being able to first go out I can't remember any serious injuries yes the odd banging in to each other .it's surprising how resilient pups are though .pups that are allowed to run and work out things for themselves obstacles ect seem to be less injury prone later and make better dogs than a point and slip that's never had the same freedom .and I would think a pup that runs free learns manners quicker and picks up things quicker like scents ect because it's allowed to you can reinforce recall as many times as you want but you can't if it stuck on a lead .but each to there own how they enter if it works for them 3 Quote Link to post

king 11,980
The pup I got off mchull is let to free run with the other 4 dogs here..when in the numerous fields I walk..she started from a young age of running and pretending to strike the neck on either terrier at speed..she hardly touches the terriers..I've never had a dog do it before..but she's done it 100's of times..its almost like she's practicing to strike..the coordination coming in at every angle possible and traveling at high speed is a skill in itself I think..it seems like its hard wired into her..almost like it's natural.. Roll on September she can put all that practice to work... 3 Quote Link to post
