jukel123 9,004
Feel vaguely uncomfortable being shown other mens' bedrooms. What's next? Would you like to slip into something more comfortable? Edited May 8, 2022 by jukel123

Now, now, I said " other mens' bedrooms". I did not specify your bedroom, which I am told is far gayer than the one depicted. I saw 3 turtles basking on dry land near a pond today. Buggers are everywhere. Does anybody know if they can breed in UK temperatures?

Ken's Deputy 4,460
What's that, Mack? Floating pool table for them? Funny, that; How they can breed happily in places like Canada and North America. Yet, UK is ~ supposedly ~ too cold for it Now, this shit's beyond my remit. But, do not turtles lay their eggs buried on dry land? Grass snakes do. And they're fine. As are the various 'cousin' types of 'Grass Snake' found on that side. Fukk ton of terrapins said to be living in British waters. Yet, the 'official' line is that they're not breeding?

It used to be thought to be too cold for them to successfully hatch a clutch but there's been breeding populations observed in some spots down south in the last decade or so Edited May 31, 2022 by BGD

It gets down to -40 here, ice feet thick,UK doesn't have such extremes, I can't imagine why turtles can't thrive. I live right next to petrie island turtle reserve, on a hot summers day you can walk the path and see dozens basking, yesterday I got the shock of my f***ing life, bloke came walking down the path, big fat bloke with a father Christmas beard, he was wearing a bra and a mini skirt Baby terrapin sighting in London suggests possible threat to UK wildlife | Wildlife | The Guardian AMP-THEGUARDIAN-COM.CDN.AMPPROJECT.ORG
