Good morning out

Myself and my mate didn't do too bad for a short time out,

We had 12 fish between us ,one lad met mr.pike it seems

Had another few this morning,10 trout from half a pound to a pound and a half,...hooked into a salmon but broke off on 6 lb line,....I was gutted

Took 2 home for supper

I always think them little 1 to 2 lb trout taste the best

Yeah,their the best eaters,we try not to take many if any but after 2 days fishing I thought one or two wouldn't go amiss

Yeah,and they can put up a decent fight at times,I prefer to stick em back mostly,have em for another day

Had a poor enough morning,my mate and I got 4 perch of small size,,3 roach,I had a nice 1lb trout,and my mate had a 4 lb pike,.river was very low and very sunny,

Oh and did I mention i got tagged by the  narrownosed barsteward
