jukel123 9,046
I read The Guardian, Mail, BBC, Sky, Mirror, basically anything which is free. I distrust all of them. They've all got an agenda. They've all got their irritations. Any recommendations for a decent read: sport, politics, world events?

You would feel 100x better if you stopped reading all of the above
Ken's Deputy 4,460
I start every day with a glance at the headline of Breitbart (London / Europe). It's a bit Faragephillic. But, that little shit weasel Delingpole hasn't caught my eye for a while now ~ sucking on Thatchers ashes. I hardly read past the headlines. But, I feel they alone give me an insight into what's Really going on in the world out there. What ever they're highlighting is the days story the msm will be desperately trying to hide and distract us from. I then go on to completely ignore and avoid Anything the other lying kuntz are trying to brainwash me with. Suits my state of mind

I think we live in an age where you have to research everything from various sources until you get to something like the reality of the situation. You also have to sift through countless, meaningless distraction articles released into the ether by people looking to cover something that’s really important. We live in the age of the moron !
Astanley 11,588
I watch CNN and FOX news ,there is a strange type of honesty in their dishonesty (is that an oxymoron Rich?)neither hide the fact that they are biased ,they lie ,distort ,omit and preach an agenda ......you know they are doing it ,they know that you know ...but somehow by listening to the lie and what they don't say then you can get to an approximation of truth ...it's like doing a cryptic crossword .

pesky1972 5,443
The smoke shed where I work seems to be a great and reliable hub for exchanging credible information. Unfortunately I don’t smoke.., which explains why I haven’t got a 4 by 2 what the fcuks going on in the world. THL comes in a close second. As someone once said, “believe half of what you see, and none of what you read”. I’d reckon it should be less than half for everything, there’s more mis-information, or mis representation of the facts, out there than anything else now. Maybe it was always thus, but the volume of information available, with which one could form an opinion, is off the scale. No wonder kids are confused.

tatsblisters 10,593
I don't read any daily newspapers these days even though it seems it's only the older generation that does. I only read the once weekly local rag. I believe the SUN newspaper was the start of the shite and lies that seems normal now in the papers.
