Another from the past

Going through some old pictures on old kodak. And came across these old pictures of wharf an Kelham Hall on trent with my lad in 2007. That perch was a monster from wharf. A can remember it to this day a was fishing feeder an a kept seeing it shooting about for the minnows. So a caught a couple of minnows an put one on the hook. Had a good old fight in it. Was on my tod so put it at the side of my size 9 trainer. Top two barbel from Kelham 3rd from wharf an last pic was from river Calder you can tell the difference ugly thing it was been knocked about abit. Am guna have to give Kelham a bash this season again. Some good fish on that peg near Bridge a caught 3 that day. Any one else fished Kelham any pictures

Some nice fish there mate, fish the trent a lot in that area. Awesome perch.

Those fish would be a good size now after all those yrs,can't beat the  pull of a good  barbel on the end of the line

Nice set up Danny. I had the fox warriors barbel rods 1.75lb plus the korum 2lb an the korum tripod when it first come out smart bit of kit. Gave it all to my son my gear except my terminal tackle. He asked for that a said not a chance f**k that. Lol A can't go online an buy a couple of rods again for this season coming an tripod. But comes to terminal tackle its a f**k about getting that back in. You know where I'm coming from

Me an a couple of other lads are lucky there's an old gent who lives in one of the big old house at the far end of Boston who doesn't mind you fishing. Just Says keep it tidy the area makesure you all your rubbish goes  home with you or in a bin have a good day . If the balif come round on this side tell him you've got permission off me I Owen this stretch of the water. I didn't realise till then that the stretch of the river comes with the property so you've got to maintain that area of the river. It must be true because balif come an a told him an he went off not so happy when a told him. Because at first he says you best go to shop an buy day ticket an a says a don't need to this gent who lives here gave me the right to fish.
