That will make a change from Soweto ! Lol

Exactly that.....purely from a boxing standpoint what is there that Fury does better than Usyk ?......absolutely nothing,he's just bigger.....and maybe too big. So when folk make light of Furys s

he has won every belt there is more than any heavyweight before him really

he makes fighters look terrible doesn’t he he’s able to make good fighter look shit

He hasnt fought the best of his era.

He's won the world title and made 2 defences....as did Mike Weaver,Brewster,Spinks and many others.

I dont know does he.....when we see him box the other top fighters out there we'll find out, thats how boxing and sport in general works mate not just by picking your favourite and saying " he's the best ".

Im forgetting you're the chap with posters of Fury on his walls sorry.

You cant have a sensible unbiased conversation about heavyweight boxing the same as i cant have a sensible unbiased conversation about London football clubs.....you're talking silly mate, same as i probably talk silly about West Ham,simple as that.

Re watched the fury Wilder fights, in the 2nd fight Fury was so messy, getting tied up when Wilder was dead on his feet, terrible finisher, couldn't find the distance and was in a tangle constantly... 3rd fight he was on top then on his ass twice...exciting fight but f**k me Wilder has 1 punch.. a f**k off telegraphed looping right hand...fury was caught with it more than enough... wilder is an awful boxer, he has 1 punch power but no way would he last any time with a Lewis, Bowe, Holmes, Holyfield, pre prison Tyson... let alone Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Norton etc...

Fast forward to Furys fight with Whyte, it was a non contest... Whyte looked like a middle weight against Fury and hasnt got the skills to box against such a big man...does that make Fury one of the best ever? Not for me, fair play to the man, he is a big and fairly mobile bloke, can box a bit and now throws his weight a bit more... his fights are messy and he likes that, he sucks the life out of people, 20 odd stone leaning on you for 5 rounds would do that lol...

I'd like to see him box Usyk, he is a class boxer no doubt, has the lot but the size difference is just too much...yes Haye beat that zombie giant Valuev.... but Fury is certainly light years ahead of him....

Few years ago I'd of liked to have seen Aj V Fury but AJ has gone backwards, he was a good finisher, great punch combinations and just went in to get the job done, this new version trying to box more dont suit him, he's got a punchers chance against Usyk but I think he's already beat... shame as I'd like to see that fight still, don't care who won it but would finish this pretty shit era...

Francie, there's a few more than just one or two on here, that have actually boxed.

And, same as you with your religious beliefs etc, everyone on here is allowed an opinion on things.  And seeing as we are all discussing today's heavyweights, several members on here, myself included, have the opinion that today's heavyweights are pretty poor, fairly good at best, but certainly NOT absolute world class.

I think you are taking things out of context, mate.  It's just opinions.  ?

Yeah it is opinions shark buy I just can't stand people who call professional fighters what there been called on here, just weeks of jealousy an shite talk when they probably done nothing near it in there own lives,I have the highest respect for anyone who gets into the ring be it amateur or professional.

I get what you're saying, but that's the nature of the beast, francie.  You'll always get people 'ranking', for want of a better term, today's boxers and comparing them to those of yesteryear.  And yeah, I agree with you, anyone that steps through the ropes, even for a good sparring session, let alone a world title fight, deserves a bit of respect.  ?

Tbf Fury has called plenty of boxers  bums  which I don't personally like , like you I have respect for anyone who gets in the ring and gives it a go , unless they are a diver like malik Scott,  he's a proper  bum ?

I boxed mate, only amature, no great shakes enjoyed it, loved the training, watched boxing since i was a kid, my Dad loved Ali, he hero worships no one but Ali was a big thing for him... I was only around 8 or so when Tysoe beat Berbick and can remember it like yesterday...some things stick in your mind ..

I bet loads of lads on here have boxed a bit, or other fighting sports.... talking boxing, football, hunting, fighting, shagging etc is what blokes do...

For the record, I think Fury has done amazing to come back from severe depression and be undoubtedly rhe biggest draw in boxing and probably the best of the current crop.... do I think he belongs in the best ever category, no... I struggle to get him in my top 10 to be honest...but that's an opinion and not slagging rhe man..?
