I'm a loss for words

Ugh so just got off the phone with one of the guys who works under me right. Kid is all huffing and puffing talking about how the messed up is check. Something about he's only getting paid $300 for the last two weeks yadda yadda yadda. 

This is the same exact kid will bellyache and moan all day about being able to go home early. We're scheduled 4pm-9pm we usually finish our actual main job by 6 and they usually just ask us to clean, help customers and other pretty easy stuff till 9. Easy money right ? Well him and the other little whiners I got, will bitch and moan with no shame to anyone till they can to leave early.

Well last two weeks or so my manager has just been saying screw it and letting them go home after they worked for all of 3hr. They think it's the best thing since sliced bread. Did I mention most of these kids have a 20min+ drive here one way ? Like there barley making gas money back.

Well anyway he's going nuts over the phone and I finally just ask if he's looking at his time sheet and stuff. He says yeah . I ask him how many hours did it show he worked in the last two week. He say 23 I asked him how much does he gets paid an hour he say $11 something.  I just get quite hoping something would click.... NOPE ! He asks how much I usually make I tell him, he starts going ballistic and I tell him I do I minimum of 50hr a week( heck my boss let's me click in as easily as I want so sometimes I'll just clock in two hours early and just walk around helping customers or sweep and they love it) . Kid proceeds to talk about how he doesn't see how that means anything I just told him I'd bring him to the store supervisor when I come in today and let him explain. Man we work in an air conditioned big ass hardware store. It's not friggen hard work, I mean hell half the time as long as you LOOK busy their happy. I swear parents need to put their kids in the crappiest low paying job as soon as their able to so these little shits have some kinda ethics.  I'm 24 listening to these chaps complain and I feel like I shoulda been born two decades ago

Life is a grind , I don’t know where my disposable income came , I used to wake up on a Saturday morning and not see my bed till Sunday night . One thing or another out with the dogs or up town or going somewhere. These days I stare in terror at the fuel pump as it slowly eats my wages

then it’s kids , animals wife then me in that order for treats . I can’t remember the last time I went and spent 200 on myself for leisure. Or treats  I doubt I ever will again to be fair. 
 

it just genuinely kills me these clowns rocking around town dressed like extras from towie and your kids are dressed like tramps with half mast trousers. Get a f***ing grip . We know one single mother who spends all day making Tik toks for old men ( honestly) and three or four family’s who you’d think didn’t have kids sit on the front boozing every night . 
 

it’s the celebration of mediocrity and the rise of self importance on social media pulling our society apart .

Then you get the lazy parents that really gets my back up. Doesn’t matter how much money you got if you don’t spend time with kids. Mrs is off work at the moment for Easter break. Text her friend at 1 pm asking if she wanted to take the kids to the park. Gets a reply of we arnt out of bed yet. The kids 10 months older then ours and never gets read a book etc. doesn’t say thank you or please. Just gets sat in front of the tele all day hardly gets changed out of there pyjamas. Breaks me!

I’ve employeed them by the bucket load get told work for me on the windows all teach you how to graft and carry yourself want to further a career somewhere else give me a year out of you and all help you on that path any bother you get in all back you 

 

been to court with them sorted stuff for them that doesn’t go to court turn myself inside out for them nothing gets appreciated and listen there not bad lads some of them but if you give them an inch they’ll take a mile then come back the mile and pull your pants done 

 

genuinely honest I worked the hardest for the two biggest c**** of bosses I had maybe there’s something in that
