So I dont know if this has ever been asked before but here goes.

Going back before the ban etc, other than the usual, rabbit, hare and roe., what other creatures dig you deliberately catch with the dogs?  UK.

Pheasant, partridge, mallard, moorhens. The 15 month pup I have has come close to catching snipe on a few occasions. He's mad for the scent but hasn't quite gotten high enough yet.

I doubt anyone will willingly incriminate themselves, but I've heard tell of lads who have taken some of the more exotic species of deer, wild boar and even wallabies here in the U.K.

I had a Wheaton x greyhound x bull x greyhound Dog and he caught Duck twice a sparrow hawk once and a hedgehog once funny thing is he never killed them he put them in your hand alive same.as rabbits every one live to hand But killed foxes for the fun of it

Had a spaniel in my teens... I lived in a pretty rough area growing up...the dog would find dealers stashes best hit was 3 kilo of the old pink champagne and 10 kilo  of hashish ...you could give it a sniff of a 2pence coin...throw it as far as you could onto any cover....dog would come back with it

Once saw a Presa bitch grab and subdue a great big f***ing bullock that charged the terriers snouted it and held it till it dropped on its knees and rolled over...only then when she knew it wasn't a threat did it leave it go
