It's all happing now same as it will be for many abet. I'm having to move some birds about another pair are building again I've put this clutch of four at the bottom of the cage. Hen keeps trying to lay her eggs in the same nest with the young even tho she's got another spare pan up at the otherside of double breeder. Strange thing canaries lol. So I've moved them to the bottom of cage lads who breed season in season out will know what I mean but for fellow bird keepers that don't. You may pick something up from this an my other post hope it helps you out. A find these D shape feeders ideal for the young the young feel safe , used them for a couple of seasons now for bottom of cage heavy too so won't fall over.
