You can run an immersion heater from solar these days so may be more efficient, lots of boats have a solar dump that sends the charge to the immersion once all the battery’s are full, quite simple to set up ??

The whole of the uk has 3 coal fired. Power stations..we have the best quality coal in the World.. "anthracite"

China has 1110 coal fired power stations...

And yet the uk government are pushing the net zero policy..obviously the aim is simply to tax us more and more..squeeze every single £ out of the public...

We have literally trillions of tons of coal..that's 1000,s of billions of tons of coal under our feet and our sea..

China are bringing on line 1 coal fired power station every single week..

What a laughing stock to the world..run by fecking idiots...

I had a solid fuel central heating system fitted when I worked at the pit with a loan from the NCB were they took a few quid out of your wages to repay the loan. I had a raeburn fire in the living room of the small terraced house I had bought and had to have the radiators on upstairs when the fire was lit even in summer though it didn't cost me a penny with the fuel allowance we got of sunbright doubles. Lol

I know I’m like a stuck record but what part of “f**k You” has everyone been failing to understand the last 40 year ?

A Liberal Democrats person knocked the door a few months back wanted a vote..because a dodgy Conservative mp was sacked...

She was told straight to her face that you and all the other mps are corrupt to the core Amongst other things.she just stood there mouth open and speechless..

So basically she's asking me to vote for her to give her an eighty thousand pound job..

She wouldn't go out of her way to support me in getting a job..imagine me knocking her door.." hey can you go and talk in person to the quarry manager to get me a job" she would laugh at me...but she wants to knock my door and do the same...

Parasite cnuts the lot of them...keep blushing them red cheeks you cnut and feck off my drive...

When I got married 47 years ago, our first house was a pit house in East Cramlington.

The widow wife next door was almost eighty and got a coal allowance of one ton a month.

It was more than enough for her, so she would shovel half of it into our coal house for free.

The fire was never out, just pull the damper down at bed time, lift it up next  morning, shovel of coal and away it went.

The water was allways boiling, and we had to run it off now and again.

I asked the missus if we got electric bills back then, she said no, the rent, rates, electric were all on the one bill.

Happy days.....or looking back through rose tinted glasses ?

Cheers.
