In my opinion a dog that sees its got good reason to even curl a lip at children wants its two eyes smacking into one immediately. 6 Quote Link to post

Elchapo 3,166
Pts if it biten a kid , will happen again soon enough and then that's your fault for passing it on , and because it's a plumber terrier lol 2 Quote Link to post
fireman 10,861
Told you the usual bollocks would be spouted about plummers, but again why did it bite a kid and did it bite the kid or snap at it.A terrier of any breed if it meant to bite a kid will leave a hole at least or some damage, this might be a case of a dog snapping at a kid who maybe even stamped on it's ball bag as none of us know what happened.Feck me it could even be greb the pleb back trying to do his "thing" but hey ho the usual bollocks when someone new asks for help and well done THL.. 4 Quote Link to post
chesney 5,435
Give the dog to someone that works that type terrier few lads on here work them nowan knows the reason why the dog bit the child could of been multiple reasons fair enough if the dog just attacked the child thats different story. 3 Quote Link to post

Same as i've pts a dog for biting a family member myself,a couple of 3 years ago a week before xmas my misses let my lurcher out her run to chill in the garden,i also had a cracking young terrier that was sure ticking all the boxes that ran in the run and hassled the lurcher. The lurcher snapped back the terrier went back in and during the scuffle my lurcher inflicted a fatal injury to the youngster and my misses was bitten badly by the lurcher. The terrier died at the vets and i PTS the lurcher the next day and it broke my fecking heart to do so.I regret that action and will do for the rest of my life as it wasn't the lurchers fault and if i'm honest it was my misses fault as she just can't read a dog like i can and i wouldn't of let a excitied young terrier into her run in the first place.I don't have a lurcher now due to feeling guilty to my last one and to many dogs go into the ground due to accidents that ain't always there fault.. 1 Quote Link to post
Gypsydog94 4,560
Like what has been said why did the terrier snap? I got bit when younger for sneaking up on a dog what was asleep. 1 Quote Link to post

dogmandont 9,775
How many of us were bitten as kids? I know I was more than once and I'd say there's not many from my generation that didn't get nipped by a dog either in the home or outside playing, how many of them dogs got put down? Fcuk if every dog that had nipped somebody round here when I was kid had of been pts there wouldn't of been a dog in 5 mile radius. Lol. Edited April 4, 2022 by dogmandont 4 Quote Link to post
