managed to get some n340 and some small pistol primers today .apparently the poeple that make vhit do not want to sell to us brits according to the guy in the shop ffs.powder is going to get even harder to get.and the primers i bought are going up by 62% next time around

true i did use bullseye for about 8 years but kept getting told it was to fast and then came the fact that the yank powders were more toxic or so i was told so the change was made.

Alliant powders are not more toxic at all. Some nonsense flies around clubs still I see!

Anyway,  bullseye is best in pistol length barrels.

Redot, Greendot, Hero and bluedot are all good in carbine.

Hodgdon clays range of shotgun powders are good too.

so i had another look today for powder and primers.not a lot out there.primers now are more like £100 a thousand if you can find them and vhit n340 is up to £50  for a little tub.actually read on an american site that all components are not in short supply at all prices are just being inflated to make a fast buck.

Too right mate. The prices of primers around here vary wildly so something smells and I don’t think it’s horse shit cigarettes......
