Lads, all Nobel aims and excellent work but I just don’t see it……except at places, like game fairs, where people who like that stuff are going anyway ! Its absolutely useless standing on a stand

Call it what it is (at least to 90% of us with dog, rod or gun).    it’s a sport and the sport of kings ?    I, and most others, don’t leave the house to dig quarry or go out for a sh

Labour have in the past called for the banning of all field sports, angling, horse racing, Greyhound racing, the keeping of pet animals and birds.

Cheers.

That's a bit naughty CP. There may  have been whacko individuals within Labour  who have advocated such views, but it is inaccurate to infer that the Labour Party itself has voted for such measures.

There are anti fieldsports MPs across the political spectrum.

In a sense these MPs are reflecting society's views on field sports. Survey after survey indicate we are in a perilous minority when it comes our sports.

Every attack must be fought as best we can. Once an activity is banned, we will never get it back.

Correct it isn't just Labour... It's all MPs across the board... For a start stop calling it a sport...

Referring to it as pest control would be a start... People thinking your out killing animals for sport in this day and age just don't cut it....

I don't see how it's naughty, it was brought up at one of the Labour conferences , and it wasn't rejected.

I didn't say they had voted on it. The mere fact that it was discussed should have alarm bells ringing.

Cheers.

Said exactly this, practically word for word, about 10 years ago.

How do you fight the mass media? A small group of vermin that shape public opinion, they hate the indigenous people of this land, our way of life, culture. whos been fighting to stop a jail sentence for hare coursing? Stop looking to the establishment for the right to hunt, keep quite and carry on

standing on the land at Wisbech with a running dog as gallelio pull up whilst fishing your permission out your pocket is the level of throwing pigs out to a bull cross in front of the wildlife warden.

Take it down DC. You made a mistake. Get rid of it.

Me and a few mates have talked about finding the slimy cnut ,and giving him a dig, since his first  f***ing covid bullshit?...the man won't be happy until he's filled Wales up with male refugees,so him and his MP mates got boys to bum...he has no interest in what the people of Wales want...there's not 1 Welsh politician that cares about our country...they only concern is having some power and what's in it,for me...no different to the rest of em across the board...elected by the people,to serve the people??? Bollocks?

I, and most others, don’t leave the house to dig quarry or go out for a shine and run vermin/game to carry out pest control for landowners. I go out for sport. The conservation benefit of doing so is simply the positive effect country pursuits have on the environment as a whole.

Id rather go down with the sinking ship head held high calling it what it is, with honesty and integrity, than give those c**ts and inch that haven’t the slightest clue how this environment is managed and has been for generations.

once we start snaking, pandering and sympathising the battles already lost.

I’ve seen it first hand with the game keeping industry here with the associated bodies bending and giving in at every hurdle to satisfy them.

They will never be satisfied till it’s a distant memory.

they don’t give an inch so why should we.

See that's the difference between me and you then isn't it... When I leave the house with a terrier or go for a shine... I am welcomed...

I am also going with the sole intention of a result... I used to go hunting when I was 12 to say maybe 20... Then when wised up and started to see that working like that is for lads who do an odd bit ?

As for going down with the sinking ship as you put it lol... I'd rather fix the leek and drive the boat ashore..

But as I say big Mary...you do your way...and I'll do mine...?
