Out tonight and I really did not think that I would succeed with the full moon , but the wind was in my favour and I got tucked in under a hedge 

first to come along was the vixen 185 yards ,75 g v max 243 with the C50,end of , same as last week I left the carcass where she dropped, and 20 minutes lates along came the dog 

that’s  me done on the foxes now for a while , I don’t like shooting milky vixens and leaving the cubs behind , so out tomorrow early with the dog and do my best to find the den , I have a good idea where it might be and sort it out , next time a fox will be in the cross hairs will be August

I only have 2 places I will shoot foxes right through now until the cubs are out and about and they are the shoot and the sheep farm, even then I don’t hammer the shoot, I like to start again up there around June

Everyone different. I'll be out more the next couple of months than any other time, solely to help ground nesting birds. I'll also shout at any naughty badgers.

I have a fox job to try and sort this week. The bloke we get our ducks and partridge off has a fox on his farm and wants rid before it causes mayhem with his lambs and game birds. He reckons it is a recently cubbed vixen in a nearby banking. It won’t be easy because his mate a “professional “ keeper has educated it.

I lost an estate recently  because a new keeper has arrived. " my son and I will soon sort the foxs"

I shot 4 now leaving his woods just casually walking the boundary recently
