Add on issue?

Good morning, I have very recently bought  a pardnv007v add on. I am unsure whether it has an issue as I have had the battery fully charged rice, but as soon  as I power up the unit, it has a low battery level warning message that flashes up and then it switches off. Is this a common thing, am I not using it correctly, or could it be faulty? 

It was bought brand new last week.

Sounds like the battery is not charged , charging properly or faulty battery 

either send unit back , get hold of seller  to send another battery or buy another battery and try that

I charged my new Pard battery and it lasted no time at all so I bought a new charger which is far better, no problems at all now.

Put the battery on multimeter if good it should read 4.2 volt

I must admit that I have lost some shooting mojo this winter and moved to use the shotgun a bit more which has been really nice however we need to get round our perms or they will wonder if we are still interested.

Yep for some reason it’s been hard to get out this winter . Rain ,wind , work and getting older
