To regulate or not to regulate to void the warranty or not... 

To finish the stock in oil or.... Might not be able to stop myself.

More than once 

As they are dry when you get them new 

But can't foult your choice son

Well Jimmy mate I int even got it back yet. I'll probably end up shooting the Kral before the Air Arms gets back from the menders as my grandma used to say.

same as the stock om my benjamin kral when it arrived very dry but oiled it and its come up lovely

i just used tesco walnut oil cheap as chips but if you rub it in well it comes up lovely on a dry stock

I'm actually thinking about staining it a shade and going at it wjtb the tru oil

Be prepared to spend lots of time and many many thin coats, and then a lot more thin coats. Its a lovely finish but quite fragile in the field. Personally I think its a good project when you have the action out of action for a while.

Wouldnt you rather be out shooting your rifle when you get it?  How many coats of tru-oil would you say approximately on an average walnut stock before its up?
