He cant seem to grasp that I said I may be wrong but even my mrs said she's seen it somewhere as well

But if your wanting a dog to get into the cover an work it with little noise then you need a smaller type dog don't you. Otherwise if there's Warren's there the quarry will hit them straight away.  An have time to hit them with the noise of a bigger dog trying to work its way through the thick cover. A small terrier type can run through it with ease can't it an make the quarry make a mistake an run out of the cover into the long nets or if your working lurchers same there.
