There's not even a comparison imo, a terrier that won't work to ground isn't a terrier it's just small dog that looks like a terrier and no different to dogs bred for the show ring.

Not everyone hunting them above is chasing a few rabbits there not in same class as a serious digging dog ofcourse but i think a goodun deserves abit more credit than that

Sorry dude but there's plenty of other breeds of dogs can do all those tasks you've mentioned, might be a great little dog for you but if it won't do the job it was originally bred for then it's just a lookalike.

I enjoy seeing any decent dog work whatever it's doing and always have given credit to them  .bangers is after bushers and I hope he gets what he's after .everyone wants and works  different

A terrier type that can tackle a boar in my eyes is no comparison to a terrier that works underground lol  That must be some hard terrier type to nail boar. Nothing comes close to them kind of dog that have the heart for that kind of work credit to your dog mate if its tackling them This chap here will tell you diffrent that a fox an black an white have more about them. f***ing them boar can pull a terriers puddings out just with head shake a can imagine

I used to believe that and think the same way..But there's some good fun to be had, with a decent bushing terrier or 2 that don't drop in..no humping a shovel around and the lurchers get a good stretch
