The age of the discriminated against.

Went for a pub lunch with my Mrs today. We were picketed by a ferociously angry, fat arsed, tweedy type, middle aged woman  who stood in our way of the pub door.

She reckoned we should boycott the pub because they do not cater for people with coeliac disease.....people who are intolerant to gluten. She said the owner "deliberately  discriminates against coeliacs." 

My Mrs asked her to move aside and told her she was a nut job.

I mentioned the encounter to the publican and he said wearily that she pickets the place now and again,  and  that he was fed up calling the police. He said regulars just see her as part of the cabaret.

I found myself repeating Victoria Meldrew's famous phrase.
