Sausagedog 7,381
Phil, did you mention a 22wmr for sale?? Thread 'Sako quad 22 wmr' https://www.thestalkingdirectory.co.uk/threads/sako-quad-22-wmr.233663/ Quote Link to post
philpot 4,970
Not me Bernard but funnily enough, my ticket came back on Saturday as they had printed a .22 spare barrel not a mag / wmr barrel so now it is reprinted reading a .22 wmr barrel, I popped over to my rfd to pick up the said barrel, good job this guy didn't know about my barrel although in fairness it was included in the package with the hmr. I do have a temptation to tease on this one however.........................perhaps not. Phil Quote Link to post

To be honest DB, I only have the wmr barrel because it was included in the sale and having owned a wmr before, I am aware how well they run but the hmr is for long range bunnies which I believe will be better for that job. 48 minutes ago, villaman said: Very interesting Mitch and I am not surprised at the effect of the hmr. Great pity he didn't examine the blocks in detail after the first shots which would have been more telling. My buddy and myself are out tomorrow to put our hmr rifles through their paces as over here we are enjoying some calm weather for a change and I will be doing some more tests with the zan slugs / wildcat fac so a good day with luck and a few pigeons to follow with the Browning humpback semi auto. philpot 4,970
Well so much for having a full day testing the rifles and sorting zeros now that all the scopes have been swapped around. A lovely day weather wise BUT my dear wife tested positive for covid so we are not going anywhere even though I am stiil clear at the moment. For two years we have been so careful only to pick it up from my grandaughter, thankfully as we have had all three jabs, we hope it gets no worse than flu and that I keep clear but who knows. philpot 4,970
Thank you very much chaps, I am sure she will be fine. My eldest daughter and family have all had it and the 4 year old grandaughter seemed completely clear and about a week after they were clear and we went to see them, she tested positive the same evening that we popped round in the afternoon. Just sods law I guess. Phil Quote Link to post
