Yes mate 452 Varmint barrel a bit heavy but extremely accurate I’ve owned it from new it’s killed a lot of rabbits lol.

My first hmr was one of them and yes very very accurate right out to silly distances.

Same here it amazes me the shot placement and distance you can aim for a squirrels head at 120/30 plus and confidently hit the target, with my shitty eyes a squirrels head looks like a dot after a 100+

Another four this afternoon but it should have been a few more really I missed a couple of easy ones, shot of the day though was first pic right in the far corner it was about 130+ made a change not freezing me nads off as well the temperature was 15.

Gave the rimfire a good clean to day including the silencer this normally buggers up the zero so I knocked up a little target and went out to check zero, at 100 yards it looked tiny my eyes aren’t the best first shot left of the yellow square then another 2 just above and a slight tweak shot 4 in the yellow then shot 5 slight tweak again dead centre.

I also whacked a couple of bunny’s as well a good head shot on one of them.

Went out for a couple of hours this afternoon and I managed seven bunnies a few were young uns but they all eat money so everyone is fair game.

I was surprised how many were about I could have shot loads more but this place has horse paddocks roads houses the lot and shot placement has to be seriously taken into consideration if you miss, there was five just sitting around a paddock but the horse was home and I didn’t want to freak the horse or the owners out but in all a good little walk out.

All skinned gutted and bagged up before I left the permission, there was a big old fox about 150 yards from me with his head sticking out of the vegetation thinking once he buggers off that’s my Saturday night take away sorted.

Looks like you had a decent session flattop, have you thought about fac air on that permission? Might be more suitable if you’re having to pass up shots with hmr? Just a thought.
