I wouldn't want my daughter or son near a catwalk no matter how much money is on the table, seedy, grubby, distasteful,I'd rather they earned there money without exploiting there bodies half naked or near naked f**k that, just mo

This is an interesting debate mate and going off on a tangent a little bit, I watched a documentary about Neymar (the footballer) the last two nights……his dad manages his whole career and has set up a company that does nothing except manage Neymar and his “brand”

Got offices and a load of staff, the whole works…..their sole purpose is to make sure he is OK and everything is working the best it can for him.

Thats the way to protect your kids if they have high profiles careers, it’s these poor sods just thrown out there to sink or swim that get problems I think and are in danger ?

I wouldn't be happy with my daughter having a million followers on the web...?....how many more weirdos are going to  come out the woodwork??

But it’s not innocent though is it, because the internet is no place for innocence.    unfortunately, and disgustingly, her 1 million followers won’t be made up primarily of similar aged girls.

Ffs,how's she acting a slag?....she is dressed like many everyday girls her age,....crude approach to it in all honesty... So your walking down the road,a young girl is coming your way....you can

As much as phones are a doorway to everything shite in the world for young people, especially girls, they are a safety device as well…..what’s the first thing many of us say when their kids go out ? “Got your phone with you ?”

My daughters when they are travelling about, if they need to get in a cab I tell them to take a photo of the number plate and the driver and let them see you do it, then send it to me…..we didn’t have that ability when I was a kid.

Also, I obviously hadn’t seen her instagram until SHH put it up and to me, the photos are innocent but the comments would give as a parent the creeps…..I wouldn’t feel comfortable with that at all.

Just a shame that a young person or anyone for that matter can’t do something for fear of odd c**ts !

That’s a good balanced post.

It’s maybe hard for people of older generations to understand but social media like instagram changed the world in a lot of ways for young entrepreneurs. There are really level headed driven girls/women out there who have used it and grafted to make themselves in a way that would’ve been impossible before. I’m not talking about women who just post pics in slutty poses and then sell onlyfans subscriptions but women who have built a brand, usually very attractive sure, but they work with companies to market their products and build their own portfolio of products. They tune in to what their following want and produce it, they share their life in a much more intimate way than yesteryears models. Todays youth want to be slim and attractive and live in bikinis on the beach in tulum having fun with their mates and they’ll ‘follow’ profiles that inspire that. It’s not so much selling sex as it is selling ‘the dream’ and I say fair fucks to those women. Imo they kept their dignity and hustled to live the dream. Young girls like this one was probably on her way to that tbh.

Her parents knowingly put her in harms way for financial benefit.

Does anyone think the parents aren't earning from this and she is receiving all the money... Some chance.

Thats the bit that I can't get my head round.

Or the ole fella is an extreme pedo hunter and uses his daughter as bait.

If she was a singer trying to get signed and performing in her social media I suspect we would feel a bit differently maybe ?

That would be my point. I can understand social media for kids if promoting a specific talent. Dancing, singing, sports, etc etc

at that age if the talent is that they appear to be attractive and dress provocatively then imo it’s of very poor taste and judgement from the parents and should not be encouraged at all.

I agree mate, but it was really a response to your comment about not allowing your kids to be a model, as children certainly I get that but there will come a time when they they may want to have that as a career and then it’s all about looking after them (again !)

Models exist, they do, and always have done and if they could safely make a fortune from doing that job in an atmosphere where there are rules and boundary’s with someone to look out for them then why not ?

We protect our kids, always will and that has to also mean if they choose a career that means they need protection from those who would pray on them or exploit them…..if they can earn a million quid then surely they shouldn’t have to stack shelves in Tesco for fear of scumbags ?

It’s not “money at any cost”, its more exploit it rather than it exploit you ?

Katy Price is a prime example of a girl who had buffoons around her throughout her life, her parents have not done their job but if they had maybe things would be very different for her ?
I genuinely feel sorry for that girl.

We've just deleted YouTube off the kids tablets, some days I feel like burning the lot TV PS4 and tablets, but they love getting outside, and it's part of their social circle but I don't think that justifies allowing it, they won't be getting phones until they're older, I'd like to see schools ban phones so there's less pressure for children to have them. As for YouTubers etc, endorsing selling stuff I don't want my boys to know that exists ideally, They're mostly nobs selling unrealistic dreams on a cycle of disappointment and frustration.

The best part of all this tech is undoubtedly entertainment on rainy days, the education, my kids do homework on a tablet (probably similarly to my grandfather lol) what they know about nature, wildlife , space , etc. If I couldn't fact check on my phone they'd have me sussed as a thicky . Anyway if it all vanished tomorrow I'd not be sorry tbh, but we make use of it , the drama I have because of FIFA 2021......??

I've enjoyed watching loads of YouTube , but it's more for live news , or to learn about cooking, or engineering or whatever it might be it's great in that sense , supervised , but I go out the room and they're watching grown men playing football in an inflatable arena acting like twats, and as people lower their principles then the stuff that damaging to our children will increase....

So your walking down the road,a young girl is coming your way....you can see her mid drift and she's very pretty.....that makes her a slag????

I dont mean her jigsaw, i mean in general, i blame her parents for whats happening to her as they should know better and what the nets like, personally its a dangerous place, with the slag bit i mean the so called influencers etc etc singers celebs, they dress like tarts and complain when they get objectified, these thpes are influencing the kids all the wrong way
