Wolfdog91 7,345
Hay so say a guy wanted to go to the UK and experience all the major outdoor experiences ,what would be a good hit list ? Like y'all got certain events or places to hunt or fist or something ya feel everyone should do if they can. Like fishing here ,or hunting for x at y with z method ? Or better do y'all have "Slams" ? Like here we have turkey grand slam ,the big ten slam heck ,trout ,bass , or catfish slams even the trash slam I think for certain species. And basically what a slam is is you go to certain places all around the country to hunt for fish for specific animals. Like with the Turkey Super Slam involves tagging a wild turkey in each of the 49 states that have turkeys. And I think it's a royal if you tag each subspecies as well. Anyhow just curious as always Edited February 17, 2022 by Wolfdog91

Anyhow just curious as always Come to northern ireland its still good hunting and fishing and 90% of it is free to do, anywhere else it will cost you a fortune and englandistan the hunting is constantly harrassed and the fishing costs a fecking fortune, scotland well great outdoors paradise but the toffs charge a fecking fortune to hunt or fish, but people are still flat out and keeping their heads down, england has some beautiful chalk streams and exellent trout and grayling fishing, but costs a fecking fortune

DIDO.1 22,845
September. Weather still mild and countryside at its best. A day's fly fishing for rainbow trout on a decent fishery. Then down to exmoor to hunt with the staghounds and foxhounds. In September it's possible to do an early morning with the foxhounds, off to the staghounds and finish with an evening meet with another pack of foxhounds. That's probably to much so best to do 3 meets in 2 days. Then do a bit of sea fishing on the coast, probably wrasse and pollock but possibly some bass fishing. Then finish your trip with a day pigeon shooting over decoys with a decent guide. That's what I'd go for if you were visiting from abroad. Nothing there would really cost you much money other than your accommodation but would allow you to see English country sports and the English countryside at its best.

SheepChaser 8,089
If you come over I’ll take you out for a day or two Uk hill billy style chasing things out of bushes with terriers and firing Lurchers at them. Or at least intending to, accidentally digging a dog, losing a busher for an hour, eventually catching what we meant to when we weren’t looking, smoking roll ups, talking bollocks and going to the pub and singing. 2

And timing is important, if there's no water in the river then you ain't going to get off the starting block. A yank coming over would get charged a fortune and would only see a narrow part of the UKs sport and countryside. .....and they would have to go to Scotland

mackem 27,494
Sika in Ireland, red stag in Scotland, and fallow, roe or CWD in England, needn't be the horrendous prices US guides charge either where a fenced muntie hunt is £5000.
