davidlloyd 16
As you all know by now, I'm looking for somewhere to move. Lots of you have already been very helpful, hope you can help me with this one too! Has anybody stayed at Essie Croft in the Highlands? It's advertised in the EarthDog RunningDog most months and in the ad it says 'Lurchers at Work'. Does this mean they work their lurchers there and can you take your own dogs and join them? Would be a great way of seeing what the area's really like. Cheers Quote Link to post

LurcherLover87 0
I stayed at Essie Croft last summer, it was brilliant. We took our lurcher with us, we asked the owners when we booked and they had a warm dry stable prepared for when we got there. Would definately recommend staying here. Quote Link to post
Guest tawny
mark snowdon is a good friend of mine, and often travels down from is home to hunt the valleys of mid wales with me, and if you think that a 13 hour drive is far, that man will do it in 24 hour notice for a day out down here, and as for working thier dogs ? ive seen them and all are good workers, and mark would be more than happy to kennel working dogs if you ever stayed at his croft. a real lurcher man,a real hunter and a good friend Quote Link to post
