Cracking bit of footage there Ken thanks for sharing, I've not long been back indoors, three of em were waiting for me , I love it when I go out there they don't cower away from me now like they used to, I dunno wether that's a good thing or not, but it gives me great pleasure in life for a few brief moments, anyways like I've said I'm back indoors now and time get my head Down, thanks again for the footage, keep em. IWW; My lot wait. It cracks me up, going out there and counting pairs of eyes. And I know who sits in each spot. Funny as fukk, considering these are completely wild animals who are simply learning off me and each other.

It's what they do, naturally, though. They're simply exploiting a Brucey Bonus that's happened into their lives.

That one with the wound, I call Amy. The distinguishing mark I know her by having been caused by bad aim, or an abscess. See? Absolute fukking genius!

There's a dog amongst them, Bob, who's just fukking ridiculous! Has a head on him like something out of warped imagination! I have a fair to middling fix on a third one too. Cambri vixen.

But, that all went to fukk the other night. I put together a ten minute montage of practically contiguous activity. We agree there's four, if not Five different foxes discernable in it! :icon_eek: Where's this going?

Sid & BB; That's the first squabble in a year of this. Wonder why that is? Time of the year? Number of foxes?

And how, really, to respond to it? If it's more / hungrier foxes; Do I put out more food ~ in a line or otherwise?

It's like we feed the birds. (Much to the disgust of the Germans) I'll see your sunflower hearts, for the goldies. And I'll raise you raisins, for the locust like swarms of starlings they'll attract. Where do we draw the line? ?

There's no book been written on this, see? No experts to turn to. But, it's fun, finding out for ourselves :)

And now, I have thirty odd more bursts of footage, from last night, to sit and look through! :D

i thought trencher fed was a term for what was feed fed -- scraps , left overs fed to small hound packs that met up to hunt but not kennelled as a pack

Could well be Sid...trencher fed is the term I've heard from the old boys who would spread the food along in a line, terriers, lurchers, spaniel's,hounds all eating together ?

In a trough in hunt kennels the norm nowadays, in a gutter type trench originally I believe.

Cheers, D.
