Couple of hours this morning

Had a couple of hours out this morning with a pal and his pal who was over from Holland, the boy from Holland has lurchers and trained dogs for the police but had never been ferreting, 

Ended with 4 as we lost 2, bits were rough on the dogs, my mate brought his dog he’s Training too she had a good nose and worked cover etc

She would’ve chucked that German Shepard aboot like a junkies jaw… she never even came doon the stairs

Marked well and worked the cover well, very protective of the gutted rabbits

I walked out with one and the prey drive was high , crashed trough cover and didn’t mind getting bitten, wouldn’t mind one now being as lurchers are so frowned upon

Nice thing to do for Dutch guys. Must admit I thought they had a paradoxical rule that terrier work ok but not lurcher work?

Boy had 3 lurchers whippet/grey things, hares were his thing, had terriers too and trained police dogs, loved our scenery here, not used to hills
