I expect my mrs to do the cooking and general household stuff.I can’t use the computer so she does the banking and all the kids school stuff . I’m the worker and log splitter general gardener and dogs body . I will cook if I need to but I do believe these new family’s have got it all wrong

I cook, blokes and women in my family have always cooked.

My wife isn’t as good a cook as me, but she does all the laundry, day to day household admin, sorting out school dates etc etc

When we fist had kids we worked together and she took the kids to work in our showroom and office from when they were 6 weeks old.

We just always did whatever works at that moment in time but I don’t know how to use a washing machine to this day !

I think it’s important to teach kids, boys and girls, to be independant and to me that means being able to knock up a decent pot of grub out of whatever is in the cupboard, iron, look after themselves…..that way, in my simple thinking, they will never be reliant on anyone else and so they can always just walk away from something if it’s not right.

After two cracks of the whip I decided I’m better off solo.. I have the kids on a 50/50 split and do the lot myself!

way less stress full :)

ive got a lathe and reloading press living on the kitchen table and a bird that calls round twice a week:: happy days?

Same here...

I enjoy cooking if I have time and happy to cook, wife does all the laundry etc

Mrs ran her business and I ran mine and we always made it work. She sold her business and now looks after the holiday cottages and house.

When the kids were young she worked around school hours and only worked Saturdays when they were babies, I worked away a lot back then so wasn't around much in the weeks to help out...

I think a mum should be around for the kids when they are young if possible, I know its hard now but I'm glad we made a few sacrifices back then

That’s similar to me boys I kind of expect my mrs to cook the grub , and take care of the chavies. Had a partner before that used to leave me out micro meals with a to do list on the fridge.did , nt last long that one ??.I can look after myself if the need arises don’t get me wrong

I can think of nothing worse than allowing any one to look after me .

I do the washing , mine and the kids ironing, the washing up ,  the animals ,hoover , break the diy jobs , the garden , we like doing things like washing the cars , the ferrets , with the kids , bath time reading , all that stuff

She does the cooking , and is left with everything when I’m away . So mucking in whilst you’re back rather that sat in the couch 4 John smiths deep whilst your misses is getting her life ruined by two feral kids just don’t seem fair to me .

13 years ago me and my wife decided we would send our 2 girls to private school. Not something we could afford being poor ass whites from Alabama. In order for us to afford it she has drove shitty vehicles the entire time.My oldest daughter graduates this year.I ordered my wife a brand new Toyota Rav4.The salesman called me today. We are picking it up Monday.Valentines day.

I've never cooked or cleaned or anything  else.Only changed two diapers. She helps with my mutts and honestly she's probably a better dogman than me.?. I've got a good one gentlemen.

She works full time in a dialysis ward, I don't ask what she does with her cash, I pay everything, I love a spic and span place so I clean OCD style, she loves cooking, we fit together well, she doesn't complain when I go off on my own, that's a plus point for me.

50/50 here i can cook wash and clean i dont mind any of it mrs will garden,  chop logs , and help out with diy , despite working full time she`d put a shift and helped out with my work , when we were younger we worked full time and ran market stalls between us at weekends , mrs sorts all the bills and banking . what ever we`ve earnts gone into one pot --- worked for us

Same here, both do laundry, shopping, cleaning and bills/admin, she does most of the cooking cos she's a chef lol. I walk and feed the dogs 80% of the time but she does a bit more gardening than me.

Both work full time and all the money is shared. I sort car stuff and she occasionally puts fuel in.

Cheers, D.
