Isn’t it South Korea’s President that’s declared Martial Law and mobilised the Army against the Parliament because they wouldn’t ratify his budget ?

Im not up to speed on it but the army are stopping the people and the MP’s entering Parliament.

As I said, I could be wrong but from the news I’m watching the President is very unpopular and doesn’t have a majority in government and is under investigation, along with his wife, for corruption, so to cling on to power he has declared Martial Law.

The Parliament has just voted to overturn the Declaration of Martial Law so it looks like a stand-off at the moment.

Its breaking news so things will unfold.
