What happens when the government stops the payments? What happens when these people refuse to leave other peoples homes? What happens when their new Ukranian pet becomes a pain the arse after a few weeks? Individual sponsors will be asked to provide homes or a spare room rent-free for as long as they are able, with a minimum stay of 6 months. In return, they will receive £350 per month. Ukrainians arriving in the UK under this scheme will be granted 3 years leave to remain, with entitlement to work, and access benefits and public services. ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme launches - GOV.UK WWW.GOV.UK UK individuals, charities, community groups and businesses can now record their interest in supporting... This is what our own people that are in need of help are faced with........ You could be on the register for months or sometimes years even if you're in a priority group. You might not get a home if you are low priority. How long does it take to get a council home? - Shelter England ENGLAND.SHELTER.ORG.UK How long you have to wait for a council or housing association home depends on your level of priority... And that's just the regular indigenous people - homing and caring for our elderly and damaged exforces personnel is a whole other woeful can of worms. In all honesty mate i can't see that happening the Ukrainians if going on those who have settled here and have fitted in and caused no problem's are anything to go on they will return to their country soon as it's all over like the Bosnians did when we gave them sanctuary in their civil war. Though i still think a better idea would be to keep them together in static caravans' or other similar homes and the money spent on people employed to oversee their welfare.

They might not be going into council houses (yet) but, they'll be rinsing the benefits system, the NHS, school places etc that they've contributed the grand sum of f**k all to. ......... we've seen it all before when the Poles were allowed to claim child benefit for kids that had never set foot in this country. Our own suffer because leaches like this offer nothing more than a begging bowl and a slippery human rights lawyer. 10
