Because its not the west's or Russia's place to decide Ukraine's future...its Ukraine's! The small state of ossetia voted 99% for independence. Now Georgia, after getting all its funding from soros was the 3rd biggest force in the invasion of iraqi after UK and USA. Georgia had both US and Israeli military advisers with them when they launched an all out attack on South ossetia in 2008. They levelled Tower blocks, towns, schools and hospitals. That is just 1 example of the power games, wars and blood fueds that have raged in those countries for decades.
