It's a mine field of information that's for sure, but there is definitely a direction in which the world is heading, that of a more authoritarian approach to society with a  globalist agenda in mind. I would say this is the driving force now behind all world events, emergencies, economic policy, foreign policy...the list goes on?

I read French, German and Arabic news reports. The BBC and British tabloids are away off the mark in many ways. For example; did you know that Russia and the Ukraine export wheat to many middle east and  north African countries who are dependent on it? The embargo on Russian goods or Ukraine not being able to harvest the wheat will cause massive food shortages which will in turn fuel even more migration from those countries.

There is a much bigger picture to this than Russia wanting to 'liberate' Ukraine.

Turkey imports 50% of its wheat from those two countries. They are trying to become self sufficient, but they can't do it overnight and it will be far more expensive. Tunisia imports 80% of their wheat and cannot grow it themselves. It isn't just oil and gas that can be witheld to ransome.

I'm of two minds, one Ukraine surrenders , they evacuate and allow Russia to take it , in expectation that Putin will shortly be ended by his own...two NATO steps in and offers air support , or in the guise of Poland or someone and wipes out the convoy whilst protecting airspace from nukes etc.

Unfortunately I think it's going to be annihilation of Ukraine cities whilst the world watches and says how brave they are. Maybe countries might send in special forces in the guise of ex forces to completely feck the convoy up , which doesn't seem to be traveling at speed and reportedly has break downs. Anyway thoughts are with the Ukrainian people tonight....

How does that work at this point? Like, what guarantees would Russia need to be sure that as soon as they’re out NATO doesn’t role in with, what we now know is, a far superior force. I’m not sure they’d accept any promises at this point. Trust is non existent.

If Russia agreed to a ceasefire but not to leaving (as a guarantee) then that’s tantamount to a bloodless victory for them.

:hmm:
